About us...

In the beginning...

My life has been blessed by the love of a "pit bull" for many years.  I adopted, Tiffin, my first pit bull in 1998.  Needless to say, my life was forever changed by the love of and for this incredible creature.  That love blossomed into a desire to help other bullys in need.  It also inspired me to advocate for the breed and for responsible pit bull owners everywhere.  Tiffin passed away on February 7, 2011, but the love and devotion he inspired me to have for the breed still drives me in my efforts to make positive change for all pit bulls and their responsible owners.

As you browse this website, you will find one common theme.  Pit bulls are wonderful companion animals.  They live for human companionship.  They are full of personality, incredibly intelligent, athletic and they form a bond like no other dog out there.

My desire for anyone who visits this site is to help them see the other side of the "pit bull" story - the one you don't see on the news.  If you look deeper - beyond the "pit bull" hype - you will see love in its truest form.  I want nothing more than to join homeless bullys with other responsible, loving people so they, too, can know the wonderful love of a bully.

Don't believe the hype - the American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier are among the most loyal, loving and affectionate animals you will ever meet.  Their exuberance and zest for life, not to mention their goofy and playful personalities, make them utterly unique and irresplaceable to their owners.
